Sorry that I didn't post anything for the remainder of the time we were in Kauai...for those of you religiously checking our blog I apologize; but the internet was tempermental to say the least due to weather on the island. Here is the update: it rained literally from the time I posted the beach photos until the time we left on Monday at 10:00 p.m. I'm not talking sprinkling rain...I'm talking pouring sheets of tropical showers soaking us to the core. Each day we woke up with the sun peeking through the clouds, we crossed our fingers, put our bathing suits on under our clothes, prayed for sunshine, then headed back to the room an hour later to change out of our swim suits after the clouds defeated the sun :( This is not to say that the rest of our trip wasn't fantastic b/c afterall, we were in Kauai!! We did a lot of indoor activities (attended a local craft fair, went to several shopping malls, drove to checkout scenic places that we had hoped to hike to, etc). We are back at home now, and although it is FREEZING (I think the temperature when we landed today was 26 degrees) at least it is not raining! I am looking forward to a few dry days even if they are chilly ones :)

I was so bummed to hear that you'd been "rained out" but I'm so glad you're all home safely. Tell Micah that Liz from SOP and her husband were in Kauai at the same time. I was at work last night and there was a postcard by the timeclock from them. Barb Bruce said they had a great time anyway because they figured they wouldn't be back again so the rain didn't bother them, but man, it's a bummer to not have more sunshine! Can't wait to catch up with you guys and see pictures!
Hey Stevie, found your blog on Kelly's blog. Aaaaahhhhh Kauai, I'm glad you had some sunny days! We are going to Cabo in 59 days...wooooohooooo! I've been praying for good weather there, because it can go either way.
Glad you are home safe. I'm sure you are probably freezing by now.
Hey Kristen!
I so hope you have good weather. You better start tanning, that way if it does rain the whole time at least you're guaranteed the sunkissed look :)
